When a selfish prince rejects a powerful witch, he is cursed to be a “beast” until he learns to love. Years later, a poor widow plucks one of his forbidden roses. Though he sentences the woman to death, the Beast allows her to return home to say good-bye to her family. When her two distasteful daughters and greedy sons-in-law hear her “insane” story, they don’t believe her. However, the widow’s third daughter, Beauty, goes to the Beast and promises to stay with him if her mother’s life is spared. Beast immediately falls in love with Beauty, who is like a princess to him. But will Beauty learn to love the Beast?
