Enjoy Good Music and Support a Great Cause!

Spotswood Community Orchestra
Spring Concert
to benefit Hope House

Friday, April 23
7:30pm
James Monroe High School

Featuring pianist Patricia Hendrix and the works of Rossini, Mozart and Dvorak.

The concert is free, but they will be accepting donations for Hope House, a homeless shelter for women and children. If Hope House can raise $100,000 by June, a non-profit foundation will match that amount and the shelter can begin to expand into an adjacent building that will allow them to shelter four more mothers and eight more children.

The Spotswood Community Orchestra is composed of Fredericksburg area musicians who want to give back to the community. They donate their time by performing to help raise money for the needy. Previously their concerts have helped raise money for the Thurman Brisbane Center, the Bragg Hill Family Life Center and Micah Ecumenical Ministries.

This idea was suggested to us by one of our fans on facebook, Christine Hartigan. Thanks, Christine!
